Allergies are very common to people with low resistive immune system. There many types of allergies that people must know for proper prevention. In many cases allergies can be seen through the reactions in the skin or if the allergen is airborne, the symptoms can be noted because of constant sneezing, runny nose, etc.

There are many types of allergies that can be found. It can be divided as airborne allergies, food and drugs allergies and waterborne allergies. Airborne allergies are allergies caused by allergens that go with the air. Dust mites, pollen grains, soot, etc are samples of allergens that go with the air. Most of the time, the affected body part or organ by airborne allergens is the lungs or the respiratory system. When the pollen or any other airborne allergens reach the lungs it may cause irritation in it that may result into coughing. As it passes through the nose, allergens may trigger sneezing on the person which may later cause a runny nose. Waterborne allergens primarily attack the skin though there are instances that waterborne allergens may cause skin allergies.

The very common foods that can cause food allergies are seafoods, chicken, egg, milk, etc. The primary symptom that can be observed in a person allergic to a certain food is the itchiness of the skin. When a person sees rashes in his skin after eating a certain food, he may be allergic to it.

Drinking a glass of water with sugar dissolved in it may help reduce the rashes and itchiness caused by food allergy. To be sure, a person experiencing food allergy should consult a doctor for further prescription and advice.

Looking for a physician’s opinion will help you determine what to do to prevent food allergy. However, the surest way to prevent allergy is to keep away from foods that you are allergic from.
